At University of Bridgeport, I was able to learn how to perfect my 2D and 3D drawing skills, as well as finally be able to use computer programs to help aid my design. I am proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and can use that to create artistic images. I am also proficient in AutoCADD, and can use that to create unique and interesting floor plans. I currently am learning Revit, and I am experienced in navigating my way through the program to create beautiful renders of my designs,
As I continue my education at University of Bridgeport, I experience new aspects of interior design. In 2017, our class went to an apartment that we had to do a project on, and we measured around the entire apartment, and in 2018, same class went to a house that Professor Matto was working on in Milford, as a base for our project. I never used the program KeyShot, but in 2018 during my furniture class, I had to learn it, in order to present our project.
In 2018, we also went to the Oronoque Country Club for one of our projects several times, to measure and take photos. In this project, my group went out to interview several furniture dealers for said project, and go out and choose fabrics, from said people.
In 2019, we had to do a project which involved redesigning one of the Dorms at the University of Bridgeport. This design would be judged by the dean of the university, and the univerities' design team, and the winning design would be implemented into the dorms.
My design was chosen, and over the summer and fall of 2019, I worked with the university to redesign the Barnum Hall Dorm based off of my winning design
